The paint industry is dependant on several industries. With the automobile sector and the housing sector both booming, there is tremendous scope for paint technologist.
Per capita consumption paint in India is very low, about 750grams, as against 25 to 30 kgs. In developed countries across the world. This indicates tremendous scope in the market. The Indian economy is currently growing at high rate. The growth of corresponding industrial (automotive OEM) and housing segments will generate more and more demand of paints. This will require expansions of all paint related industries and will generate demand of manpower resources accordingly. Remuneration of paint Industry ?
The paint Manufacturing / application industry offers a starting job of Supervisor or Chemist or a Marketing Executive and average salary packages between 1.00 lakh and 1.25 lakhs per annum. Salary package is different across the industry.
